When we started ‘Time Communications’ in 2001,we were focused on changing analogue lines to the new, Digital ISDN technology.

Since 2017 we have been concentrating on migrating our clients away from Digital ISDN to Cloud based telephony and we are now entering the final ‘stretch’

In September this year, the whole BT network will be put into “stop sell” signalling the next phase of the total shutdown of analogue and ISDN which completes in 2025.

But what remains the same today as it was in 2001, is the need for our clients to speak to their clients and suppliers.

In 2001 the telephone handset was the only device that allowed this type of voice communication, whereas today we still have telephones, but we also have softphones on PC’s & laptops and softphones on mobile devices too.

If you haven’t yet started the process of learning about the BT shutdown, please don’t leave it too late as there are so many organisations still to upgrade in such a short time, that there will inevitably be a huge bottleneck on its way!
